What is Network?

Welcome to Gloucestershire Scout Network! We’re a bunch of people aged 18-25 who love the outdoors, socialising and lotta lotta laughs!

Through Network we offer a range of activities and a chance to meet new people within the world of scouting, whilst having fun and “doing your best”. We support those who wish to complete awards such as the Queen’s Scout Award. If you don’t think that that is your cuppa tea, we provide lots of opportunities to try new things and have a giggle whilst doing so!

We love to get stuck in helping at Scouting and community events, making Network a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Welcome to our world!

If you’re 18 to 25 and still want to enjoy your Scouting you can by joining Scout Network. As a Scout Network Member you get to take part in all the usual great Scouting activities such as kayaking, climbing, orienteering… as well as work on projects helping to support you local community.

Scout Network can give you the opportunity to gain the many awards and qualification made available to you like Queens Scout Award and Explorer Belt to name just a couple.

You can also, if you choose, get more closely involved in working with the younger Sections and providing them with the same kind of opportunities you’ve had through Scouting.

Scout Network allows 18 to 25 year-olds who have an interest in both Scouting and their own personal development, and ultimately want to have fun, the opportunity to do so.

Gloucestershire Network is the final section of scouting for young people in Gloucestershire. We have regular weekly meetings, as well as weekend trips to do fun, yet exicting things such as: Segway, Monopoly Runs, Narrowboating and even posting pianos through letterboxes!

As well as providing both an exciting, interesting and varied program members can also take part in nationally recognised awards such as the Duke of Edingburgh’s Award and the harder but less well known Queens Scout Award.
